Members of tie Buffalo Center Clinic Search Committee are pleased to welcome
Mr. Richard Kilgore, CRNA and the Buffalo Center Medical and Specialty Services, PLLC
to our community. Mr. Kilgore recently purchased the clinic operation from Dr. Corey
Welchlin and the transition to the new entity is now complete.
Kelly Lillie, ARNP and Hannah Anderson, Radiologic Technologist have accepted
positions with the new entity and have continued to provide health care services during the
transition. Joining Kelly and Hannah at the Buffalo Center Clinic is Thomas Tow, RN.
Thomas previously worked with Dr. Welchlin in Fairmont, MN, and we welcome him to our
community.
A special event is planned at the clinic on October 23, 2026 from 12:00 PM to 7:00
PM for residents of Buffalo Center and the surrounding communities. The staff is anxious
to meet everyone and to share their vision for health care services at the local clinic. We
encourage you to attend, give them a warm Buffalo Center Welcome, and join us in
wishing them success in the months and years ahead.
In the Spring of 2023 the Clinic Search Committee embarked on an effort to find a
new health care provider for our clinic. When Dr. Welchlin agreed to open a satellite office
in Buffalo Center, the Search Committee announced a fundraising campaign to provide
capital for the clinic. Community funds were to be used for the purchase of furniture and
equipment at the clinic and for working capital during the initial months of operation.
The fundraising campaign was a huge success. raising a total Of $342,441.35
(including interest). Thank You to all who have contributed, your generosity is truly
appreciated. The City has disbursed $88,600.53 for purchase of fumiture and equipment
and $146,942.86 for working capital. As of September 30, 2026 the balance in the
fundraising account is $106,897.96 which will be available to Buffalo Center Medical and
Specialty Services, PLLC for purchase of furniture, equipment and working capital.

Their dedication to our communities and tireless effort in recruiting the staff was
instrumental in the success of this project.
